Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Internet Posture. By using the service, you agree to them.

last updated July 15, 2026

The service

Internet Posture looks up public DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) and TLS certificate and domain registration expiry for a domain you submit, and saves the results so they can be revisited. Paid plans add continuous monitoring of domains you choose, email alerts when their records change, and collection of DMARC aggregate (RUA) reports for domains you point at our reporting address — daily summaries from mail receivers showing sending sources and authentication pass rates. It's intended as an informational diagnostic tool.

Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Each plan covers a set number of monitored domains. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't prorate partial months.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only to scan domains you are authorized to inspect.
  • Don't use it to attack, overload, scrape, or probe systems without permission, or to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
  • Don't use it for anything unlawful or in violation of others' rights.

Saved scans are public

Scans you run are saved and displayed on the site, including the domain and its public DNS records. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want shown publicly.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” based on public DNS data at the time of the scan. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. DNS data can be cached, delayed, or change at any time, so results may not reflect a domain's current configuration.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, and we may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
